Installing Modern PDF software
Do I need to uninstall a previous version of Modern PDF
before I install a newer version?
No. There is no need to uninstall the previous version before
installing a newer version of the program.
Do I need to uninstall the trial version of Modern PDF
software before I install the full version?
No. The full version of Modern PDF software can be installed “over”
the trial version. This means that the trial version’s files will be
replaced by the full version’s files.
Can I use Modern PDF software on both my desktop and portable
computer?
If you purchased a single-user license for the full version of Modern
PDF software, you can use the software on one or more computers you
own, provided the program is only used on one computer at a time. If
more than one person will be using Modern PDF software on different
computers at the same time, you must purchase a multiple-user
license.
Using Modern PDF software
Do I need to purchase Modern PDF Server, if I want to
install Modern PDF on a server computer?
Yes. Only Modern PDF Server can be installed on a server
computer. You are required to purchase a license if you want to
continue using Modern PDF beyond the trial period.
Which product works on Microsoft Windows 11, Windows 10 and Windows 7?
All ModernPDF software products work on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, and Windows 7.
What is your upgrade policy?
5-Year Free Upgrade. USD 2 is required for annual upgrade beyond the 5-year grace period.
Which level of support do you offer?
We provide technical support by email. The support service is free of charge for all users.
My computer comes with Windows 10. Do I need to pay again if I upgrade to Windows 11?
Modern PDF proudcts work with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11. Your license is valid forever. No need to pay again.
How can I reload the software if I lost my license key or the full version?
Just send an email to our support team, and tell us that you need to get the license key or need to reload the full version, we will look up your name or your email address in our client database, and verify your purchase record. The license key and the full version will be delivered to you by email within 24 hours.

How can I make CMYK PDF document?
Before you print to Modern PDF printer, click the Properties button of
your Modern PDF printer, explore to the Color Space tab, set the Color
Space to CMYK rather than RGB or sRGB.
How to append to an existing PDF file?
There are two ways. One is to use the "PDF Splitter & Merger"
utility as included in Modern PDF Converter to merge two PDF files.
The other way is to choose the "Append to an existing PDF file"
option in the Output tab when you create your second PDF file.
Are PDF files created with Modern PDF software fully compatible with
Microsoft Modern PDF Reader?
Yes. PDF files and documents generated with Modern PDF software can be
opened, viewed, printed, edited by Microsoft Windows Reader (Windows 8 Reader), Adobe
Reader and Adobe Acrobat software.
